1. ESP Templates: Now Live
ESP Templates are now publicly available in Devicie. Users can create, edit, and deploy ESP templates directly from the Devicie portal, making it easier to keep enrollment experiences consistent across environments.
What’s new:
-
Dedicated ESP section: A new ESP area is now available under Global Resources to view, create, and edit templates.
-
Out-of-the-box starting point: A standard Devicie ESP template is included for customers who want a ready-to-use baseline.
-
Familiar deployment flow: Deployment mirrors policy deployment:
-
Select the target tenant
-
Input required variables for consistency
-
Choose apps from those with assignments
-
-
Clear “Managed” app tagging: Devicie-managed catalog apps are tagged as Managed, so you’ll know those versions will auto-update when included in an ESP.
-
Post-deployment control: After deployment, ESP policies appear under Policies, where you can:
-
Edit assignments
-
Update variables
-
Modify associated applications
-
Why it matters:
Standardize enrollment experiences faster, reduce repeatable setup work, and maintain consistent configurations across tenants—without rebuilding from scratch every time.
What’s next
This is another step toward centralizing and standardizing Intune artifacts within Devicie.
Next up: MAM (App Protection Policies).
