Update to Enrollment Status Page Management
This article outlines the improvements made to Enrollment Status Page (ESP) management within the Devicie portal, the reasons for these changes, and current limitations.
Overview
We have completely redesigned the Enrollment Status Page management functionality to provide greater control and flexibility. The previous system required support interaction for updates and lacked advanced management capabilities.
The updated interface allows customers to manage their own ESPs, create new pages using ESP templates, and easily manage application assignments by name rather than application IDs.
| Feature | Previous System | New System |
| Management Control | Required Devicie Support | Customer Self-Service |
| ESP Creation | Not supported | Supported via Templates |
| Application Selection | Required Application ID | Searchable by Name |
| Assignments | Not supported | Flexible Assignment Changes |
| Drift Remediation | Not guaranteed | Guaranteed for managed ESPs |
Impact and Migration Details
All existing ESPs managed by Devicie have been migrated to the new system. No action is required from you.
Default ESP Migration
Managed default ESPs have been recreated using the naming convention "Devicie - All users and all devices" and are assigned to "All Devices."
If you previously had a default ESP under management, you will notice a duplicate with the new naming convention. Management of the old default ESP has ceased, and the new ESP will be managed moving forward.
Limitations
Due to architectural design, Devicie cannot manage the "Default" All users and all devices ESP directly.
Instead, Devicie manages all other ESPs within the tenant. This approach provides customers and Devicie with increased flexibility regarding naming conventions, descriptions, and specific assignments.
