This release delivers major upgrades to streamline policy deployments, plus several UX and workflow improvements that make managing policies faster and smarter.

1. Policy Deployment: Now Faster & More Flexible

The new step-by-step deployment flow mirrors the self-service apps experience, making it easier to track progress at every stage.

• Single vs. Bulk Assignment Mode: Toggle between applying one assignment to all policies or fine-tuning each individually.

• Filters for Assignments: Add filters directly to policy assignments for precise targeting.

• Duplicate Deployments: Deploy the same policy template multiple times with different variables or scopes (e.g., finance exceptions).

💡 Pro tip: When deploying duplicates, Devicie auto-adds an incremental counter (e.g., _2) for easy tracking—custom suffix support coming soon.

2. Policy Templates: Linked to Knowledge Base

Each policy template now includes a direct link to its relevant Knowledge Base (KB) article, no more fuzzy matches or guesswork.
The links are managed centrally to ensure accuracy and will expand as new KBs are added.

3. Tooltips for Self-Service Apps

New in-app tooltips explain key settings for clarity:

• Delay: “Time between when an update is released and when it’s assigned to devices.”

• Notification: “Choose whether users see Intune toast notifications during updates.”

This release is all about speed, visibility, and control, reducing clicks, removing guesswork, and giving IT teams the confidence to deploy policies at scale.
