May 20, 2026: Devicie Release Highlights
Edge for Business visibility and CIS 4.0 reporting are here.
This release helps teams strengthen browser security visibility and stay aligned with the latest configuration standards. With the new Edge for Business integration and CIS 4.0 reporting, Devicie gives IT teams and MSPs clearer insight across managed devices — from browser activity and security signals through to policy rollout and compliance reporting.
Together, these updates make it easier to identify risk, validate configuration progress, and maintain stronger control across modern endpoint environments.
1) Edge for Business integration
Bring browser security signals into the Devicie portal.
The new Devicie Edge for Business integration brings Microsoft Edge browser security event data directly into the Devicie portal.
Teams can now see browser-related security insights alongside their wider endpoint management view, helping reduce the need to jump between tools when investigating potential risks.
With centralized visibility into Edge for Business activity, teams can better understand what’s happening across managed devices and respond with more confidence.
This includes visibility into:
- Browser extension activity
- Password security signals
- Unsafe browsing events
- Sensitive data transfers
- Authentication events
For MSPs and enterprise IT teams, this means browser security can become part of the broader device management conversation — not a separate workflow that’s harder to monitor and act on.
Note: Customer-side setup is required. A Knowledge Base guide is available to walk teams through the configuration process.
2) CIS 4.0 reporting
Deploy CIS 4.0 with clearer visibility from rollout to reporting.
Devicie now supports CIS 4.0 reporting, helping teams stay aligned with the latest configuration and security standards.
Using Devicie telemetry and policy templates, users can deploy CIS 4.0 policies with better visibility and control across the full journey — from policy rollout through to compliance reporting.
This gives teams a clearer way to understand whether configurations are being applied as expected, where gaps may exist, and which areas need follow-up action.
For MSPs, CIS 4.0 reporting also supports more consistent customer conversations around security posture and best-practice alignment. For enterprise IT teams, it helps simplify ongoing reporting and reduce the manual effort required to validate configuration progress.
A detailed configuration guide is available in the Knowledge Base to help teams get started.
3) Stronger visibility across security and compliance workflows
Connect endpoint management, browser signals, and compliance reporting.
This release continues Devicie’s focus on helping teams move from fragmented visibility to more actionable insight.
With Edge for Business security event data and CIS 4.0 reporting available in Devicie, teams can bring more of their endpoint and security posture into one place. That makes it easier to spot issues, understand impact, and prioritize next steps without relying on disconnected reports or manual checks.
The result is a more practical operating model for modern device management: better visibility, clearer reporting, and faster follow-through.
