This month’s updates deliver smarter tools to help you fine-tune policy deployments, manage tenants faster, and prep for broader UX improvements, all built with feedback from our design partners.

Here’s what’s new and why it matters:

✨ 1. Multi-Action Policy Management (Private Preview)

We’ve expanded what’s possible in the Policies Summary view, now available in private preview. You can now:

• Edit policy assignments, including filters

• Adjust policy variables in place

• Import policies as templates to standardize policies

• Deploy and update policies across tenants in just a few clicks

Why it matters: These new controls make it easy to manage policy consistency at scale while allowing for localized flexibility. Whether you’re onboarding a new tenant or refining existing policies, you can now evolve your approach without breaking a sweat.

🔁 2. Real-Time Policy Assignment Updates

Behind the scenes, we’ve upgraded how policy assignments sync—moving from scheduled hourly updates to near-instant reflection across tenants (depending on Intune API timing).

Why it matters: You’ll now see your changes reflected almost immediately, accelerating testing, deployment, and iteration. App assignments are the final piece we’re polishing—stay tuned.

🧭 3. Preview: Devicie’s UX Transformation

We’re overhauling the Devicie experience to clearly separate Global Mode (cross-tenant operations) from Tenant Mode (actions within a single tenant).

Why it matters: This new UX improves clarity and helps admins easily shift contexts, take action with confidence, and navigate more intuitively—without disrupting current workflows.

🧱 4. Self-Service App Back Catalog (In Design)

We’re designing a new experience to surface your app back catalog (previously managed internally) directly in the Devicie Portal.

Why it matters: This will give admins greater flexibility to assign and manage apps across tenants without toggling tools or relying on external help.
